Customer story films · Suffolk & Essex

Real experiences.
Their own words.

Sometimes the most useful thing you can share is someone else's experience of working with you.

I make interview-led customer testimonial films for businesses across Suffolk and Essex. Carefully prepared questions, a relaxed conversation and an edit that helps a prospective customer understand the story.

A simple interview can be enough. Where it adds something, we can include footage of your work, your space or the people involved.

Two ways to tell the story

A conversation.
A clearer picture.

These films show two approaches: an interview on its own, and an interview supported by footage that gives the story more context.

Client testimonial

Ashley Addison

Vertex Pro Fitness

A client testimonial built around one person’s experience. A relaxed interview and clear, carefully recorded sound give Ashley’s own words room to do the work.

Customer story

A customer’s story

Halstead Glass

A customer’s experience, told in their own words. An in-depth interview sits alongside pictures of the finished space, helping future customers understand the care behind the work.

Comfortable people make the difference

There is room
to start again.

Most people haven't sat in front of professional cameras for an interview. I don't expect them to arrive knowing how to do it.

One of the first things I explain is that a mistake is absolutely fine. If someone doesn't like how an answer came out, we can stop and begin again. There is time to think, and we can leave out an answer they aren't happy with.

I prepare questions while we're arranging the shoot, so there is always somewhere for the conversation to go. Then I listen. A useful follow-up often comes from what someone has just said, rather than the next line on my notes.

A little reassurance, a bit of humour and gentle guidance can help. That might be a reminder to sit comfortably and upright, or simply making sure someone knows they don't have to get everything right in one take.

Your customers are in my care, too

The way the shoot feels
reflects on your business.

If you've invited a customer to be filmed, you're trusting me with that relationship. I take that seriously. How I introduce myself, how I dress, the way I speak and how I support someone on camera all matter.

I want the people being filmed to feel as well looked after as the business commissioning the work.

Before anyone sits down

A little preparation.
A better conversation.

  1. Find the useful story

We'll discuss what your prospective customers want to understand, whose experience could help, and the questions worth exploring. The answers stay in your customer's own words.

  2. Plan the interview

We'll agree the location, people, filming time and whether supporting footage would be useful. The finished films, formats, review process, permissions and price are set out in the proposal.

  3. Give the story its shape

I'll oversee an edit that brings the useful parts together clearly. We can agree a main website film and shorter versions for social channels where they serve a purpose.

A few practical questions

Before the
conversation starts.

Does the person need to learn a script?

No. The interview starts with prepared questions, then follows the conversation. They can pause, try an answer again and speak in their own words.

Do we need extra footage as well as the interview?

Not always. The Vertex example is led by the interview alone. The Halstead Glass film includes supporting footage. We'll decide what helps someone understand your customer's experience, and what fits the scope.

Can we book a single testimonial film?

Yes. You can commission one project without signing up to a monthly plan. Testimonial filming can also form part of a regular content partnership.

How much does a customer testimonial video cost?

I'll quote for the interviewees, locations, filming time and finished edits we agree. Supporting footage and additional formats affect the work involved. Tell me a little about the story and any budget you're working towards, and I'll suggest a suitable approach.

A real person is a good place to start

Whose experience
would you like to share?

Tell me about your business and the customer story you have in mind. We can work out the rest together.
