A few things you might be wondering
Before you ask.
If there is something else on your mind, I'd love to help.
What will our wedding film feel like?
It should feel like you. Your voices, the people around you, the energy of the celebrations and the quieter moments all have a part in it. I shape those things into a short film with a story and a rhythm of its own.
Will you record our vows and speeches?
Selected words from your day can be woven into the main film, alongside music and natural sound. The film is a condensed story, so it won't include the ceremony or speeches from beginning to end. Separate documentary recordings can be added if you'd like to keep those parts in full.
What about camcorder footage and guest messages?
Both are part of my approach. I bring a camcorder and hand it to guests too, so they can film the day from their own perspective. It brings a little home-movie feeling alongside the cinematic pictures, with the familiar faces and moments they notice. Guests who would like to can also leave a message for you. We can talk about the people and moments that matter to you, then I weave a selection into your films where they feel right.
Will we need to pose?
Most of what I capture happens as you enjoy the day. If there is lovely light or a quiet moment for the two of you, I may offer a little gentle guidance. I'll work around your plans and your photographer.
What are the two portrait films?
The Celebration is an upbeat, trailer-style edit with the energy, movement and fun of the day. The Feeling is a gentler, more emotional edit, full of the people and little connections that matter. Each is around 45–60 seconds, edited vertically for your phone and easy to share.
How much of the day is covered?
The collection includes up to ten consecutive hours. We'll plan those hours together around your timings, usually from preparations through to a little of the dancing. If your plans need longer, we'll agree that before you book.
Where do you travel?
I'm based in Sudbury and film weddings across Suffolk and Essex. Let me know where you're getting married and I'll confirm the travel arrangements with your quote. I'm happy to discuss weddings further afield too.
Can we chat by message instead of having a call?
Absolutely. We can chat by WhatsApp or email, and you can share your Instagram handle in the enquiry form if that feels more natural. Message me whenever a question or idea comes to mind, before booking or while we plan your day. I'll reply personally when I can. A call is always an option if you'd like one.
When will we receive our films?
I aim to have your main wedding film with you in eight weeks, with delivery within twelve weeks of the wedding. I aim to deliver both portrait films in around two weeks, with both delivered within one calendar month. These timings are set out in your booking agreement.
How do we book?
Send me your date and venue, along with a little about your plans. I'll check whether I'm available and we can talk through any questions. Your date is reserved once the agreement and 25% booking payment are in place.
